Sigh! I’m fine. Honest. 

I’ve been stressing myself out lately.  Pushing myself to produce more art and then not being satisfied with pieces and setting them aside….which, causes more stress. 

In the midst of this I had a trip to the E.R. 

It’s fine. I’m fine. 

It’s funny how things work out.  A stubborn avocado pit was my downfall. Instead of coming free, the pit cracked and the knife slipped and caught the back of my thumb. A couple of stitches later and I’m back to work.  

To me, it was a clear reminder that I have to be more mindful and slow down. (Take it Slow comes to mind.)

I know this could be a depressing image to some but I hope you see this as humorous as I do.  The sparrow may be down, but she’s fine. She’ll be back to her normal shenanigans in no time.
