I was so happy to be asked to make this piece. My friend, Dan wanted to give his wife a special anniversary gift.

He told me about the “Red String of Fate”

“to this myth, the gods tie an invisible red cord around the Finger of those that are destined to meet one another in a certain situation as they are “their true love”.”

Isn’t that beautiful.

We took a couple of photos of his hand – he told me her favorite bird was the crow and then he gave me the freedom to create the piece.
